Marvel’s Doctor Strange dropped many teasing hints throughout its movie. After its breathtaking climax, the MCU film revealed that Doctor Strange will be an important character during the fight against Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War.”
Doctor Strange also raised the anticipation for an upcoming MCU film through its post-credit Scenes. The footage revealed Thor having an interaction with Dr. Stephen Strange.
The post-credit scenes also hinted that Doctor Strange will be appearing in Thor: Ragnarok. However, Marvel Studios did not officially announce or confirm the appearance news.
Doctor Strange To Cameo In Thor: Ragnarok
Finally, Doctor Strange’s appearance has been confirmed by an official Disney fan club website. D23 revealed the details in its recent post on the most exciting Disney movies in 2017.
According to D23’s post, “If you need even more intergalactic, world-saving action, Thor: Ragnarok in November brings together Thor, the Hulk, and Doctor Strange to face off against intergalactic baddies both familiar and new.”
Earlier, some behind-the-scenes photos were released from Thor: Ragnarok. The images revealed Thor and Loki in their human attire residing in Earth.
In Doctor Strange’s post-credit scene, Thor was wearing the same clothing. It’s likely that Thor contacts Strange to for his magical aid.
Thor Receives Aid From Stephen Strange
Earlier, it was officially confirmed that Thor: Ragnarok will also contain events that are inspired from Planet Hulk. However, it was also heavily hinted during SDCC.
The Hulk played by Mark Ruffalo is a cameo role in Thor: Ragnarok. However, the superhero will be engaged in a battle sequence and possibly fight beside Thor as well.
Loki played by Tom Hiddleston will also appear in Thor: Ragnarok. However, it looks like he won’t be the main threat in the movie. Hela, Karl Urban are expected to be the main cause of chaos in the MCU film.
Thor, Doctor Strange and The Hulk will soon begin filming for Russo Brothers “Avengers: Infinity War” as well. Thor Ragnarok is all set to hit theaters on November 3rd, 2017. Marvel’s earning from the movie would likely be affected as DCEU is also releasing its trump card “Justice League” the same month.
