On The Flash season 3 episode 13, the team will venture outside their domain and will save their friend Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) from Grodd (voice actor David Sobolov). In this episode titled Attack on Gorilla City, the rescue mission does not go according to plan. Grodd has always entered Barry’s (Grant Gustin) area but this time, the team will operate Grodd’s domain.
Barry (Grant Gustin) will receive an unexpected call for aid from Grodd. Barry and his group will be taking a journey to Earth-2 to face Grodd. Unknowingly, the team did not know that the silverback Gorilla lured them to ask for their help.
The synopsis for the 13th episode stated that Jesse Quick (Violett Beane) will notify the team about her father’s abduction. Barry, Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Julian (Tom Felton) went to Earth-2 to conduct a rescue mission to save Wells from the Gorilla City. As they hike through the forest, Grodd captures Barry and his team. Grodd tells them he needs their assistance to stop Solovar (Keith David), the leader of Gorilla City. Grodd claims that Solovar wishes to attack Earth-1.
While Barry, Cisco, Caitlin and Julian help Grodd in Earth-2, Jesse and Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) will be saving Earth-1 from a metahuman that can control gravity. The duo will accomplish the task with assistance of Wells and Joe (Jesse L. Martin).
The Flash Season 3 Episode 13: Who is the real enemy?
Fans might be puzzled as to what happened to Grodd. As most DC fans remembered, Barry exiled Grodd to Earth-2 in season 2 which led to the discovery of the Gorilla City. The Gorilla City is a utopia occupied by super-intelligent gorillas. Grodd was the villain in that place where he probably wanted to take control of the city. If the previous episode is something to draw conclusions from, the upcoming episode of the series will reveal Solovar as the villain. However, in the comic books, Solovar is an ally of Barry. It will be interesting to see how the series will have its own version of the story.
On the other hand, The Flash season 3 will have a musical crossover episode with Supergirl season 2. The episode will premiere on March 21 entitled Duet. The Flash and Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) will deal with a villain called Music Meister that controls people with his music. Fans are excited for the episode as Gustin and Benoist will use their experience from their time in Glee, to harmonize and defeat a villain.
