The Flash has faced many setbacks since Warner Bros. green lit the adaptation for a standalone film. Currently, the speedster movie doesn’t have a director to move ahead with its filming schedule. However, the cast members and studio’s executives still remain optimistic on releasing the movie without delay.
Surprisingly, it looks like the rest of the world hasn’t been distracted by Rick Famuyiwa’s exit from The Flash. Although the studio is on the hunt for a new director, it’s still fortunate as the film’s script was completed.
World’s Fastest Man On Track Wants A Role In The Flash
By far, The Flash has only made his appearances through cameos. Moreover, the speedster’s action sequences were ironically shown for mere seconds in recent DC movies. However, it seems to have attracted one of the best athletes in the world.
Recently, Usain Bolt spoke to MTV and revealed his interest in playing a role in a superhero role movie. As expected, the Fastest Man on Track in real life wants to appear in DCEU’s “Fastest Man Alive” movie.
Usain Bolt revealed that he would be interested in playing a cameo in The Flash. Fans can check out the video below to see the Athlete talk about his interest.
The Flash movie has been scheduled to release on March 16, 2018. However, due to Rick Famuyiwa’s exit, it’s possible that the film would be delayed.
Speedster Movie Could Cameo Usain Bolt
The speedster movie would be the origin story of Barry Allen. Cyborg played by Ray Fisher would also appear in the film as a cameo. Multiple villains like Captain Boomerang are expected to star in the standalone movie.
Currently, The Flash and his girlfriend Iris West will be appearing in “Justice League” directed by Zack Snyder. The film will be releasing on November 17, 2017.
Recently, a photo of Ezra Miller as the speedster from Justice League was released by Warner Bros. The image revealed the speedster standing along with The Batman and Wonder Woman.
