Supergirl season 2 episode 16 just released some new images and fans are already excited. Those who have been following the franchise and its multiple films will be familiar with Teri Hatcher. Although she’s played Lois Lane before, she’s back as a new villain.

Every superhero has a an enemy and, for someone like Superman, he had many. The same goes for his cousin Kara, played by Melissa Benoist, as new villains keep popping up in National City. The latest one seems to be one of the more difficult cases to get around.

Supergirl Season 2 Episode 16: More Girlfriend Problems

The upcoming Supergirl Season 2 episode 16 titled “Star Crossed” begins the two-part musical crossover with The Flash. Not only that, but Winn, played by Jeremy Jordan, is having some problems with his girlfriend Lyra, played by Tamzin Merchant. This isn’t a small problem as Winn does manage to get tangled with the law at some point.

However, he does have a savior in Maggie, played by Floriana Lima, who tries to save him. Unfortunately some old loyalties get in the way and Winn is left to fend for himself in the mean time.

In other Supergirl news, the new images from the upcoming episode reveals a lot of what is to come. Mon-El is revealed to be Daxam royalty. This gets revealed when a mysterious shop arrives above earth. It doesn’t just have actors Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo on it. There seems to be more of Mon-El’s people on the ship as well.

Supergirl Season 2 Episode 16: More Problems

In other news, another former Superman franchise actor recently returned on the show. Jeremiah, played by Dean Cain, is one of the important characters that will be sticking around for a while. Alex, played by Chyler Leigh , will be the one having a bit of a problem. As her loyalty is being put into question.

However, she is well aware of this and is even struggling herself. Jeremiah had betrayed her once before, but she tries to believe that he’s changed. The future episodes may cover his real intentions and Alex may have to finally choose a side.

This only adds fuel to the fire that Lillian Luthor is cooking up. Not only does Kara have to deal with Alex and her adoptive father’s return, but her friendship with Lena Luthor gets put to the test. After Metallo and Lillian Luthor’s escape from prison, it is only a matter of time until Lena sides with family. Kara wants to believe otherwise.The upcoming Supergirl season 2 airs on Mondays on the CW.
