Tom Holland will reprise his role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, following his debut in last year’s Captain America: Civil War. The film is set to be the third stand-alone of the Spider-Man movies in the past five years. However, it is the first time that the production of the film was under the partnership between Marvel and Sony Pictures. As the release date draws near, reports arrived stating that the movie is undergoing some reshoots.

As reports of a possible new trailer trickle in, fans are worried about the news of reshoots for the film.
With only four months left before the release date, Homecoming’s production is doing some reshoots for the film. The completion of the principal photography back in October 2016. The reshoots for the film was revealed by Laura Harrier, who plays Liz Allan, on her social media account. The actress has already deleted the post following the fans’ response on the reshoots. Holland and Harrier, along with a number of the main cast members have been confirmed to participate in the additional photography of the film.

Reshoots are now a standard for films with huge budgets. Film studios can allocate funds in the budgets to schedule ahead of time so that the actors will not commit their time to another production. Moreover, Marvel has done reshoots for every single one of its films.
As of the moment, there is no indication that the reshoots will add more scenes to the film. Reports suggested that the reshoots will take place in Atlanta. The production has a brief stint in New York which could possibly be the location for the reshoots as well.
