Have you ever watched the movie Avatar and asked yourself how cool those big robots were? If you have seen the sci- fi movie, indeed, you have thought about having those gigantic robots in real life. In relation to this, the South Korea & North Korea conflict would once again heat up as Sokor ousted its latest weapon against the North.

Robots are beyond adorable when they are just below our knees. However, when they appear bigger than humans, triple the size, they become terrifying.

Case in point, how about sticking a human inside who controls their mechanical muscles, also providing superhuman strength? Wow, that’s a hell of a horror movie.

South Korea Produced A 13- Foot Robot

Recent reports say North Korea is planning to hold its nuclear test during Sokor’s presidential election in 2017. While the North is very busy enhancing its nukes, the South took a step forward and focus on another weapon. This time, though, it’s something that would make the North sweat.

South Korean robotics firm Hankook Mirae Technology produced its called Method-2 robot. The gigantic robot made its first ever debut this week and the world was left in awe.

Method-2 Robot

The Sun reported the robot is a year away from further developments. It stands 13 feet tall and weighs about one and a half tons. Its metal arms weigh about 300 pounds each.

Meanwhile, per BGR, the robot would still undergo a tether for power. Thereafter, Method 2 might be available soon enough for companies or people who want one for themselves. However, Method-2 wannabe owners should prepare a massive amount of money.

Additional reports from BGR say the robot might cost around $8.3 million or more. Hankook plans to reveal its final version for potential buyers in 2017. Stay tuned!
