Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 Certification Leaked, New Smartphone Could Be Released in the US

The new Samsung Galaxy will be coming out anytime in 2017. As of late, the company has not revealed any information about the release date and features of the Samsung Galaxy J7 2017. However, there are are some reports regarding the leaked pictures of the new J7, providing some specification details.

Samsung launched the Galaxy J7 2016 last May. Now, the public is aching to know more updates and details about the Galaxy J7 2017. The new Galaxy J7 will have a new back design. It will have a horizontal metallic strip that serves as the housing of the camera with an LED flash. The new handset has no grill, which was suppose to feature the loudspeaker.

GSM Arena reported that the Samsung Galaxy J7 2017 has a 3000mAh battery. The rear camera is 13MP, while the front camera is 5MP with autofocus and flash. The Galaxy J7’s internal memory is at 16GB, which can be expanded with a microSD card. The Galaxy J7 packs 3GB of RAM and operating system will surely be the Android 7.0 Nougat OS. The 2017 model has a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display and will be available in black, gold and white variants.

Aside from the specifications, the J7 2017 received its Bluetooth certification from Bluetooth SIG. It was also leaked that the phone received its Wi-Fi certification as well. The new smartphone will feature an octa-core Exynos chipset and will have some of the features of its predecessors. The phone’s connectivity options will include SIM support, NFC, Wi-FI, Bluetooth, 4G VoLTE and GPS.

A leaked document from the Federal Communications Commission fueled speculation that the new Galaxy J7 is coming. According to Phone Arena, the information came from the United States official certification authority. The document focused on a Samsung device with the model number SM-2727. People believed that the code pertains to Galaxy J7 2017 model.

The J7 2017’s expected price will start from $201. The J7 2016 costs $239, which might also be the ceiling price for the 2017 version. There is no definite release date at this point, but the official announcement will surely arrive at the first quarter of 2017.
