Gamers are more interested in knowing what Nintendo Switch games will be available than the console itself. The new console will come out soon, which is the reason why Nintendo Switch game titles are already surfacing online.

Gaming started in the arcades where machines would cater to one specific game. After the creation of home gaming consoles, gamers had the option of choosing what kind of game to play. Years later, gamers can now decide which consoles to use based on the games that come with it.

Two of the biggest phenomenons of 2016 in the gaming world belong to the Pokemon franchise. No doubt, the franchise has been around for a long time, but a mobile app and a new Nintendo DS game has attracted millions. It will not be a surprise if there are will be Pokemon-related games in the future.

Another Pokemon Game?

According to BGR, just hours before the official Nintendo Switch presentation in Japan, gamers are concerned about the Nintendo Switch games. This is because late last year, there were rumors that a Pokemon game was in development for Switch.

GameStop accidentally leaked this vital information after posting it for a short time. Even though it was taken down, there were many who managed to get a screenshot of the news. To be specific it read, “You will even be able to play Skyrim on the go, or Pokemon at home with the Nintendo Switch.”

It sounds as if a Switch game will be released. And interested gamers should take it with a grain of salt. However, considering how much is riding on the new console, it is possible a Pokemon game may be developed for it

Other Games

While the Pokemon game is not confirmed yet, there are around fourteen confirmed Nintendo Switch games already. According to IGN, games like “Just Dance 2017,” “Sonic 2017,” “Yooka-Laylee,” “Dragon Quest XI,” and “Dragon Quest XL: The Five Awakening Races Online” will be playable on the upcoming console.

One untitled Steamworld game makes the list. Plus, “Monster Boy and The Cursed Kingdom,” “Cube Life: Island Survival,” and “Lego City Undercover.” Some Nintendo owned games such as “The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of Wild,” “Mario Kart Switch,” and “Splatoon Switch” will come out as well.

The console does not have an exact release date yet. However, there are speculations that it will be on March 17, 2017 and will be sold for $200.
