NCIS Los Angeles is one of the best editions in the NCIS franchise and always manages to change things up. The latest episode shows a new undercover mission and Nell and Eric’s relationship will be put to the test. Although they usually work well together, they will be pushing the envelope playing husband and wife.
The long run televisions series has delivered a number of different cases. Despite their frequent missions, it is usually very unpredictable. So Nell, played by Renee Smith, and Eric, played by Barrett Foa, definitely have a lot coming for them.
NCIS Los Angeles Season 8 Episode 18: A New Couple In The Spotlight
Deeks, played by Eric Olsen, and Kensi, played by Daniela Ruah, would be the easier choice to go under cover. However, Nell and Eric are more suited to the case since it is related to technology. No doubt, this is something Eric and Nell naturally have an interest in.
Episode 18, titled “Getaway,” will focus on the techie couple going undercover to track a tech-savvy husband and wife linked to the U.S. Treasury Department hacking. Apart from this, Digital Forensics Dave Flynn, played by Scott Grimes, arrives. He will temporarily be running ops in the NCIS cyber office in San Diego while Eric and Nell are on assignment.
Many fans of the show are glad that the writers decided to give them the spotlight. They do not usually get this opportunity and given the season has a lot of episodes this is a great way to spread out the responsibility of the show. This is a great way to add variety and keep things interesting.
NCIS Los Angeles Season 8 Episode 18: Other Relationships
In fact, this is what the show did last week when they gave Anna, Bar Paly, and Callen, played by Chris O Donnell, some time to be together. The episode “Queen Pin” featured their long anticipated date night. However, the romance did not last for long as Hetty, played by Linda Hunt, crashed it. Prior to this, the main romance arc went to Kensi and Deeks for a time. Now that Kensi is out of her coma, the writers have decided to spread out the attention to the rest of the cast. Of course, they are still after the infamous mole who is still inside the organization.
NCIS Los Angeles Season 8 Episode 18: Goodbye Granger
In recent news, the cast and the fans of the show had to say goodbye to Miguel Ferrer. He played the fan favorite assistant director Owen Granger for six seasons on the show. He recently passed away in his home due to throat cancer. NCIS Los Angeles cast gave him a tribute where a version of “Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door” was played by Ferrer’s Band. There was also a remembrance title card at the end of the episode.
