Mass Effect Andromeda has finally gone gold and fans can breathe a sigh of relief. This is good news for gamers who have been waiting for the title’s release for the longest time. Bioware will definitely not disappoint now that its gold status secures its spot.
The upcoming action role playing game has open world elements and focuses a lot on exploration. While it’s traditional gameplay wills till remain, the battles will be more mobile and dynamic. This fourth installment in the Mass Effect franchise takes place in the 22nd century where humanity is looking for new home worlds.
Mass Effect Andromeda Has More Weapons
The game just got a new Mass Effect Andromeda video and fans will be able to get a better look at the game. Now that the game has gone gold, as confirmed by Bioware on Twitter, gamers are briefing on what the game has to offer. With no delays guaranteed, fans of the franchise should update themselves on the game features.
According to Playstation Lifestyle, the new video focuses on the weapons’ in-game. All classes can now equip any gun type and can choose from four kinds of guns. Players can choose from pistols, assault rifles, shotguns, and sniper rifles. Although guns are the best for far to mid-range attacks, there are also melee weapons available. The melee weapons are an Asari sword, a Krogan hammer, and an omni blade.
The new video, titled Andromeda Initiative-Weapons Training Briefing also gives a quick run down of the basics of the game’s combat system. It also further explains melee attacks, special skills, and abilities as well. Players get to see the weapons up close and also will see helpful information.
Mass Effect Andromeda: PC Requirements Needed
The game will be available on gaming consoles, but those playing on PC will have to double check their system. According to Tech Times, the game will be able to run smoothly and produce beautiful graphics even with limited resources. The minimum specs required are 8GB of RAM and Nvidia GTX 660 or the AMD Radeon 7850. The minimum requirement for the processor is a Core i5 3570.
Those who want more out of the game may have to upgrade since the recommended specs are a little more demanding. For the best game settings, a PC will need at least 16 GB of RAM paired with a Nvidia GTX 1060 3GB or AMD RX 4 GB video card. The recommended processor is the Core i7 4790.
Gamers have to note that the game itself needs at least 55 GB free hard disk space. The game will be installed along with DirectX 11. The good news is that Mass Effect Andromeda can be installed in the 64-bit version on Windows 7, 8.1, and 10. Fans don’t have to wait too long as the game will be released on March 21 in North America and March 23 in Europe.
