There were rumors that Lucifer Season 2 Episode 14 was postponed and fans panicked. The series was already on a hiatus for three months and the rumors that an episode is getting postponed does not look like good for the series as a whole. Despite the grapevine making its rounds on the internet, some reports have tried to clear up the misunderstanding.

One of the biggest fears of audiences is when a favorite show gets cancelled. It is not unheard of in the fast-paced world of trends and entertainment. However, it is still hard for loyal fans to fathom a reality where their favorite shows will no longer continue.

According to International Business Times, the Fox series will be on a three-month-long break and will not be airing Episode 14 on February 6. The show will return in May with a new episode titled “Candy Morningstar.” While there is already confirmation of the show’s return, some fans are worried that the fantasy comedy series may come to an end.

However, Cartermatt reported that the next episode was merely pushed back to a later date. Just because there is no episode airing on Monday does not mean that the show will be getting cancelled altogether. In fact, the network will likely change the airing day first before cancelling a show.

In other news, the last episode “A Good Day To Die” revealed the big plan that God has for Lucifer. It was revealed that Chloe, played by Lauren German, was actually put in Lucifer’s path by God, and Chloe had no idea. Apart from this, Amenadiel, played by D.B. Woodside, knew about it and never told his younger brother. While Lucifer Morningstar is angry at his family, he is preoccupied with saving Chloe from poison by finding the antidote.

Lucifer has to go to hell to find the Professor who made the poison. The trip was made more difficult when he is confronted about Uriel’s, played by Michael Imperioli, death. No doubt this keeps him in hell longer than he would like, thus his mother goes into to hell to get him back. Although Lucifer should be glad his mom came to save him, he is still bitter about what they did to him.

Hopefully, the show will see better ratings when the series returns on air. The Episode 14 promo is already out, but fans will have to patiently wait for its release. So far there is no exact release date, perhaps an announcement will be made in the future.
