The anticipation for Logan seems to have increased the pressure for James Mangold. Lately, fans on Twitter have been pestering the director to release the next trailer. Although he has not revealed the release date, he has shared photos to keep the audience at bay.

Mangold shared photos of Wolverine, Professor Charles Xavier and X-23 on Twitter. The director also provided details of the focal length, ISO, shutter speed and f/stop of the photo. He also addressed the audience regarding the Logan trailer by sending out several tweets unveiling his pressure and busy schedule. Furthermore, he revealed that the dates for a new trailer have not yet been set.

Initially, Mangold began by calling out movie-goers pressuring directors like himself for trailer releases. He wrote that “it’s not like we sit on them waiting for best worded tweet to move us,” and said that “Directors have influence over many things,” which includes the setting of release “dates” as well.  However, he clarified that it is chosen by a “result of much corporate planning.”

Mangold assured fans that he “thinks its clear somethings coming. Very soon.” This appears to hint at the trailer. He concluded by asking the audience to stop “wasting another moment of your precious life typing about it.”

Last Friday, Hugh Jackman shared the official synopsis of Logan on Twitter. The picture revealed that “In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempt to hide from the world and his legacy are upended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces.”

Logan is scheduled to release on March 3. The movie is set after the events that unfolded in X-Men: Days of Future Past. Hugh Jackman also confirmed that the movie will be his final appearance as the X-men character.

Trailer Release Date Not Set Yet

Hugh Jackman has played the Wolverine for 17 years. The actor debuted the role in 2000 for X-Men. Since then, the character’s acclaimed reviews from fans and critics led to the approval of his standalone series.
