Lethal Weapon will be getting its season finale released soon and fans are drying to know how the ending will go. The series has impressed audiences with its freshman season thanks to its stellar cast and script. Fingers are crossed that the finale will do the show justice.

In every drama, there is always retribution in the end. Riggs, played by Clayne Crawford, had it tough in the first season after losing his wife Miranda to murder. Now he wants to get his revenge, but first he has to find out who really did it.

Lethal Weapon Season Finale: Revenge Finally

A Lethal Weapon preview clip was just released and shows the trials that Riggs has to overcome before getting his revenge. He pins the blame on Gideon, played by Matt Passmore, and even abducts him in order to question him. Palmer, played by Hilarie Burton, speculated it was Gideon who was behind the murder. However, fans will have to find out when the finale airs.

Gideon is not as innocent as he would claim himself to be. In the previous episode he tried to kill Tito Flores’, played by Danny Mora, mistress Maria, played by Daniella Alonso. While Riggs isn’t sure about Gideon, he wants to take out his henchmen.

However, in the upcoming episode, Riggs makes a shocking discovery. The synopsis reads that this new discovery about his wife’s death leads him back to the cartel. Although they are partners to begin with, Murtaugh, played by Damon Wayans, gets torn with a decision. He must choose between his commitment to Riggs and commitment to his family.

Lethal Weapon Season Finale: The Show’s Future

The finale may finally have some closure with the truth of Miranda, however this would give way to a new mystery on the show. The writers could already be working on an segue into the second season. In any case, the finale will be an epic end to the first season.

The Lethal Weapon season finale titled Commencement airs on Wednesday, March 15 at 8pm EST on Fox. It stars Clayne Crawford, Damon Wayans, Jordana Bewster, Keesha Sharp, and Kevin Rahm. The second season was ordered by Fox on February 22, 2017, so fans will definitely see more of the show this year.
