The recently released TV spot #8 for The Lego Batman Movie gave us a look at the woman that may have stolen Bruce Wayne’s heart. However, it doesn’t seem to be Catwoman.

Initially, Batman says that “I don’t talk about feelings.” But after looking at Barbara Gordon, it seems like the Dark Knight may have changed his mind.

The footage shows us an awestruck Bruce Wayne as he looks at Barbara Gordon. Moreover, he says he might consider talking about his feelings “if I met the right lady, and she was just standing right front of me and we looked at each and thought, hey, let’s be together.”

It has already been revealed that Barbara Gordon will be working alongside Batman in the movie as Police Commissioner. The TV spot shows them talking to the press as she says, “This is a great first day.”

‘Lego Batman Movie’ To Touch Upon Bruce Wayne Love Life

Batman mishears Barbara Gordo, then he blushingly says, “I don’t know if I’d call it a first date.” But the police commissioner clarifies, “I said ‘great first day.’” Fans can check out the teaser trailer below.

Fans may be excited to see Bruce Wayne explore his love life in “The Lego Batman Movie.” However, it looks like they are not in favor of Barbara Gordon as his partner.

Earlier in the “Batman: The Killing Joke,” fans were angered by the fact that Batman and Barbara shared an intimate scene in the movie. The controversy raged on, since Batman was always been shown as a father figure, or a mentor, for Batgirl. Surprisingly, “Batman: The Killing Joke” revealed both characters to have had interest in sharing a loving, sexual relationship.

Barbara Gordon’s Love For Batman Not Accepted By The Masses

Batman and Batgirl’s relationship have been touched upon in many of Bruce Timm’s adaptations. Fans may have mostly noticed it in “Batman: The Animated Series” and “Batman Beyond.”

“The Lego Batman Movie” won’t touch upon any sexual aspects of Batman and Barbara Gordon (it’s a PG-13 movie). But it’s likely that Batman would be shown falling in love with her. Directed by Chris McKay, “The Lego Batman Movie” will be released on February 10, 2017.
