Fans of Apple products are hoping that an iPhone 7 Jet White is the next product to be launched. Aesthetics is one of the biggest selling points when it comes to purchasing a phone. While the function of the phone is heralded as one of the most important features, the physical look comes second.

The release of the iPhone 7 caused a frenzy. Consumers spent their money to get the latest release from Apple. While there were people who did not like the company’s decision to take out the earphone jack, others did not really mind that it is gone.

New Color, New Year

Consumers had to choose among five finishes of Black, Jet Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold. The options will cater to many different personalities, but it seems that Apple is not done just yet.

According to BGR, there were speculations that an iPhone 7 Jet White version was going be released with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. In fact, the official Beats By Dre Instagram account allegedly spilled the beans on a post.

The image shows wireless black headphones with a white iPhone in the foreground. The caption did not give much away. It reads, “New Moves. New Places. #StudioWireless.” The focus of the picture was the headphones, but there is no doubt the phone was indeed an iPhone.

False Reports

Before fans get excited regarding the new variant, Apple Insider dug further into the post to check its authenticity. After doing some investigating, the website noted that it is not a new variant. Instead, it was a washed-out picture of the silver unit. Despite the disappointing news, many are still hopeful for an iPhone 7 Jet White variant release in 2017.

This is highly possible. Apple may be trying to kill the rumors for now. The company has always controlled their advertising materials with great secrecy. So the Instagram post may be a teaser just to test the waters. Apple has always updated their iPhone line up mid-cycle in the past. It is highly likely they will be doing the same this year.

The company hasn’t announced plans for this year yet. However, consumers are already expecting the first half of 2017 to have good news.
