The release of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer # 2 has not been revealed yet. But Marvel studios has shared new photo from the movie. Behind-the-scenes still of a popular Guardian has also surfaced online.

Star-Lord is shown sporting a a different look with his headphone strapped to his hip. Drax is also standing beside him. In another photo, Drax and Mantis are shown together standing awestruck. Rocket Racoon seem to have teamed with Yondu as one of the photos showed them side-by-side. Baby Groot can also be seen standing on Yondu’s shoulder.

Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2 Photos Reveals Star-Lord on the Set

A behind-the-scene still gave fans a look at Star-Lord, played by Chris Pratt, having a chat with director James Gunn. The background suggested that the shooting involved the use of CGI. The photo was likely taken during an action scene, as Star-Lord is holding a weapon.

USA Today released a compilation of the new photos. One of the new photos also showed Rocket Racoon‘s ability to penetrate any hard surface. It revealed the character looking through a hole that seems to have just been shot by Racoon himself.

James Gunn also spoke to USA Today about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The director did not reveal any plot details. However, he may be able to increase audience’s expectation with his bold comment.

James Gunn Reveals Sequel Is Different From First Installment

“The first movie was successful because we took chances and gave people the unexpected,” Gunn said. “This movie can only really be what it is, Guardians can only be what they are, if they’re taking a risk. It means giving them a much different movie.”

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is currently in its post-production stages. The director recently gave updates via his social media on the score for the movie. Tyler Bates retained his role as composer for the sequel.

The movie is set to hit theaters on April 25. Mantis, played by Pom Klementieff ,and Ego, played by Kurt Russell, are two new characters in the upcoming sequel. Fans also got their first look at Mantis in the teaser trailer.

Mantis and the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy team will appear in Avengers: Infinity War Entertainment Weekly, reported. Nebula, played by Karen Gillan, is also in the movie. The actress recently revealed in a photo that she is about begin filming for the movie as well.
