A recent activity suggested that Warner Bros. has started the casting for Gotham City Sirens. Fans know that Margot Robbie will play Harley Quinn in the movie. Director David Ayer later revealed that Catwoman and Poison Ivy will also star in the movie.

Fans aired their request on Twitter, suggesting that Megan Fox, Emma Stone and Odette Annable should play the role of Catwoman. Furthermore, rumors also suggested Fox was preparing for the role as well. However, there are still no confirmations to date.

Gotham City Sirens Might Have Cast Bennett as Catwoman

Haley Bennett recently shared two photos that fueled speculations that she could be DCEU’s Catwoman. Surprisingly, although it still remains unconfirmed, fans liked the idea. The first photo shared on Instagram revealed the classic Catwoman from Batman: Animated Series. The next image revealed Bennett in short hair and a black top similar to Kyle. The photos are embedded below.

Bennett Played Lead Role in POV Feature Movie

Bennett recently played Emma Cullen in The Magnificent Seven. She also starred as the female lead in Hardcore Henry, the first ever action POV feature film directed by Ilya Naishuller. She recently finished filming Song to Song. It was directed by Terrence Malick, who worked with famous actors such as Ryan Gosling, Christian Bale and others.

Gotham City Sirens will possibly be the second comic book movie by DCEU to have an all-female main cast after Wonder Woman. Gotham City Sirens was officially added to the DCEU schedule in 2016. It was immediately confirmed back then that Robbie will play the lead role.

Robbie is also the executive producer for Gotham City Sirens. However, others such as Jon Berg, Geoff Johns, Zack Snyder and Deborah Snyder are also producers for the DC movie.  A release date and plot plan for Gotham City Sirens are yet to be revealed. Geneva Robertson-Dworet is the screenplay writer for the movie. She is also in the process of writing the script for Tomb Raider.
