George Michael was found dead on Christmas by his boyfriend Fadi Fawaz. While there is still no concrete proof that Fawaz had something to do with the legendary singer’s death, he was probed by cops in London. One thing Fawaz did that rouse suspicions of the police is his claim that he stumbled upon Michael’s body on Christmas Day on Twitter, but for unknown reasons decided to remove the tweet.

Apart from that, he also had a series of posts claiming Michael was suicidal and had attempted to kill himself. The posts have been deleted. Fawaz also alleged it was a hacker, not him, who posted the alarming messages.

According to The Sun UK, however, the cops needed Fawaz to answer questions so they can prepare a report for the coroner. So far, nothing has been found that can implicate Fawaz. The cops also questioned other witnesses.

Meanwhile, his ex Kenny Goss will play a significant role in the star’s funeral, as per a Mirror article. Reportedly, George’s father invited him on the service.

According to a source, George’s dad Kyriacos Panayiotou wishes to see Kenny in the singer’s memorial to make it clear that the family accepted George’s sexuality. This, despite how his ethnic community frowned upon this.

“It is not acceptable in our community to be homosexual and so that was very hard for George’s father, but we accepted George as he was,” the source explained to The Sun.

After George was found dead, Kenny released a statement showing how sad he felt, as reported by ET Online. “I’m heartbroken with the news that my dear friend and long time love George Michael has passed,” he said. “He was a major part of my life and I loved him very, very much. He was an extremely kind and generous man.”

Goss added that the memories he had with Michael will remain important for him. Their relationship lasted for 13 years, from 1996 to 2009.
