Andrew Wardle is a 40-year-old male who was forced to be a virgin until now because he was born without a penis. Thanks to the miracle of medical science, he will be able to try out a bionic penis. However, the only side effect of the experience would be that Wardle would have to go through a fortnight-long boner.

Wardle was born with a rare condition known as bladder exstrophy, which means that his male organ was formed on the outside of his body. Even though he has testicles, he did not really have a traditional penis. The doctors did manage to attach his manhood back into his body, but it was not a functioning phallus.

How Bionic Penis Reaches Orgasm

As his relationship with his girlfriend, Fedra Fabian, hit rock bottom, Wardle decided to undergo a series of surgeries to get fitted with a bionic penis, reported Mashable. The procedure was an extensive one and has been accomplished once before. To fashion the organ, skin tissue, nerves and muscle were extracted from Wardle’s arm.

Artificial cylinders would form the core of the bionic organ. It is designed to get “aroused” when the cylinders get filled with fluid pumped into them from a small pouch. Unfortunately, Wardle did not get the chance to choose the size of the constructed organ.

Wardle’s Girlfriend Was Unaware Of his Surgery?

The only downside or rather “upside” of the entire procedure is that Wardle will have to endure a 2-week long erection, following the implantation of the organ into his body. But Wardle is not worried and is rather looking forward to the fortnight of resting at home. This is not because he is finally excited to lose his virginity. But rather, he is relieved to be able to have a healthy penis that would eliminate problems like kidney infections and other bladder-related complications that he has been suffering from all his life.

However, it was astonishing that his girlfriend was unaware of his decision to undergo surgery until she read it in a newspaper recently. After an initial bout of shock, Fabian eased up to the unique idea.  “I didn’t know how to react to it at first, but I was trying to be patient, holding back and asked a few questions,” she told Mirror. She is now ready to support her boyfriend of four years.
