Dwayne Johnson finally seems to be making progress with DC Comics for Shazam! Recently, the actor shared a photo revealing that he has spoken to the executives of the fictional universe.

The actor said that he “had a very cool and strategic meeting with the heads of DC about their entire universe.” It is possible that Dwayne Johnson was invited for a tour at DC Comics to discuss plans for the superheroes.

Dwayne Johnson is quite lucky. The actor was able to get some insight on DC Comics’ plans for the future. He said, “As a hard core DC fan, to get a real sense of the tonal shifts and development coming in these future movies has me fired up.”

Dwayne Johnson Discussed Black Adam With DC Comics

The Rock also teased followers on Instagram by saying this is something “DC fans have all been waiting for a very long time.” The actor described it in three words: “Hope, optimism & FUN.”

Dwayne Johnson’s description suggests that Warner Bros. has gone far from its dark adaptation “Batman v Superman.” It’s possible that upcoming DC movies are filled with “Hope, optimism & FUN.”

Fans are already excited for “Justice League,” as characters like The Flash, played by Ezra Miller, are set to liven up the movie with humor. Furthermore, it is likely that upcoming characters like Shazam! are also superheroes that would instill hope, optimism and fun in DCEU.

Dwayne Johnson will be playing one of the “most ruthless villain/anti-hero off all time” for DCEU. However, it looks like the studio has made plans to go subtle with dark and gritty plots.

Black Adam Speculated To Be Villain In Man of Steel 2

Currently, fans are expecting Warner Bros. to reveal the actor playingShazam! It has been speculated that the superhero could appear in “Man of Steel 2” as Superman fights Black Adam.

Black Adam and Shazam! are DC characters with mystical powers. Their abilities are derived from magic, unlike metahumans already shown in DCEU.

Shazam!’s character is more associated with the Old Gods such as Zeus. Fans will get some insight on them in Patty Jenkin’s “Wonder Woman,” slated to release in June this year.
