The game that was a home gaming console classic is back with Crash Bandicoot: N Sane Trilogy.
People who played video games for the most of the lives will be familiar with a lot of the classic titles. Sure, there are a lot of great new games out in the market now, but it doesn’t beat the nostalgia of the old, classics.
Most gamers will be familiar with Crash Bandicoot and its successful gaming franchise. The game stars Crash, an anthropomorphic bandicoot, who is being hunted down by his creator, Doctor Neo Cortex. The games follow Crash on his mission to prevent Cortex from taking over the world.
The game took a hiatus from 2011 up to 2016 and announced a reboot of the game just this year. The title has gone through several different developers and publishers. They started with Naughty Dog and Sony, but they are now with Vicarious Visions and Activision.
Crash Bandicoot: N Sane Trilogy: The Return Of A Classic
Crash Bandicoot: N Sane Trilogy is the official return of the game and was announced during E3 2016. Despite the announcement, there weren’t any further details relayed by the developers and publishers.
The latest news is that the release date was accidentally leaked. According to Game Rant, the Crash Bandicoot: N Sane Trilogy release date was accidentally posted on Brazilian gaming retailer Zillion Games.
Fans know that the game will be released sometime next year, and the date listed was February 28, 2017. While it may seem like great news, it is highly unlikely that it is true. This is because there hasn’t been any gameplay revealed yet. If the game were to actually be released in February, there should be some new gameplay footage for gamers to view.
There isn’t any details regarding the plot of the game either. Then again, its safe to say that it will be similar to the previous releases. Time and time again, Doctor Cortex makes a comeback and Crash always has to be defeat him when that happens.
