Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy PS4 Release Date Remains a Mystery, Here Are the Things We Know So Far

The Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy PS4 release date is still a total mystery. Contradicting and unconfirmed reports are all over the internet which are making fans all the more hungry for information. Two rumored release dates are going rounds recently and fans are determined to find out everything they can to prepare themselves.

A Classic With an Upgrade

The trilogy is a compilation of the first three Crash Bandicoot titles. This means Crash Bandicoot, Cortex Strikes Back, and Warped will be making its return to the gaming consoles. It will be remastered so the classic game feature huge upgrades. For sure the graphics are way better than it used to be.

However, the level design, sound effects and boss battles remain the same, Trusted Reviews noted. Not a lot has been changed in-game and every single level will be as it was before when it first came out for the PlayStation 1. The Wumpa fruits, Aku-aku Masks and side scrolling bonus stages will still be the same.

The most unique features the Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy will have is a unified save system across all three games along with the enhanced audio. At the same time, Sony confirmed support for the PS4 Pro. This means you can experience the game in 4K resolution.

Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy Release Date Soon?

While the game is already getting a lot of attention, fans are still waiting to get the official release date. The only detail given regarding this is that it will be released in 2017. Fans have their fingers crossed that an exact release date will be announced at E3 2017.

The good news is that the game is already in its finishing stages, as a gameplay trailer was already released. When gameplay clips are released, this usually means the publishers are on to their last few hours of development. Perhaps they are ironing out the kinks and looking for in-game bugs.

Daily Star UK reported that the game’s release date might be revealed much later this year. There was a “leak” from a Brazilian retailer suggesting a February 28, 2017 release date. This date seems highly unlikely. There is another date leaked by retailers from Czech Republic, suggesting a June 30, 2017 release date.

In other news, a spokesperson Naughty Dog spoke up about a possible new game. He noted that the team members working on the game are big fans of the trilogy and would love to see a new Crash game. It looks like this will entirely depend on the success of the Crash Bandicoot N Sane trilogy.
