Marvel Studios has finally tilted its priority towards the production of Black Panther. It has been confirmed that the studio has started filming the standalone movie. Moreover, it looks like Avengers: Infinity War filming has also started on the same day.
Marvel Studios co-president Louis D’Esposito broke the news on Twitter. A photo shared on his account revealed a chair on the set with a new logo for Black Panther. The logo was seen in Black Panther comic series as well. The tweet suggested both MCU movies have started production at the same time.
‘Black Panther’ Filming Begins Along With ‘Avengers: Infinity War’
Earlier, Elizabeth Olsen also gave us a hint about the filming of Avengers: Infinity War. Later, a second confirmation followed, as Collider’s editor-in-chief also tweeted that “the next 2 AVENGERS sequels are going to start filming Monday!”
Black Panther is slated to be released in 2018. Furthermore, the movie was revealed to be important to set further events in Avengers: Infinity War. Moreover, it will be the first dark adaptation MCU movie according to Chadwick Boseman.
Michael B. Jordan plays the main villain in Chadwick Boseman’s movie as Erik Killmonger. Recently, the actor shared a photo of his ripped physique on Instagram. It is likely that he is training for his role in the MCU movie.

Recent reports have confirmed that Martin Freeman will also appear in Chadwick Boseman’s movie. The actor played Everett K. Ross in Captain America: Civil War. Just Jared was also able to capture photos of Freeman along with Black Panther cast on the set in Atlanta.
