Better Call Saul season 3 will be returning a few months from now and Gus Fring will be making an appearance on the show. Fans patiently waited for months and the season 3 premiere episode is just a few months away. While there were a lot of spoilers and theories that made its way online, audiences are not expecting anything just yet.
The Villain Is Back
The latest news is that Breaking Bad’s Gus Fring will appear in Better Call Saul season 3. According to People, actor Giancarlo Esposito will be playing the role of the drug lord. However, there were no other details released aside from his confirmed return.
His appearance on the Television Critics Association Press Tour as a surprise guest revealed tidbits on his character. He revealed that his character was a little more immature now and is still finding his way as a businessman. Apart from that, he teased that there may be some unexpected twists that will leave audiences wanting more.
However, no one really knows how Fring fits into the whole season. According to Slash Film, perhaps Mike’s mysterious note, which is speculated to be from Fring, may be the answer. There are speculations that Fring may be the mysterious rival who knows everything about Mike’s business.
Though audiences are raring to see him as soon as the very first episode airs, showrunners cautioned not to expect. In fact, they noted that Gus Fring will more likely appear in the second episode of the upcoming season. This is probably because the first episode will tie into the events of last season.
Look Into The Series
In other news, a new clip was released and shows Jimmy McGill or Saul Goodman, played by Bob Odenkirk. He is seen interacting with the moral lawyer and complicated romance Kim Wexler, played by Rhea Seehorn. The two are trying to make their separate law practices work under the same roof. However, Jimmy’s mind is occupied with his brother Chuck, played by Michael McKean, and their past. AMC announced that Better Call Saul season 3 will be out on April 10.
