Unlike other DCEU movies, production schedule for Aquaman has been progressive. James Wan is all set to begin filming in Australia during spring. But it looks like the director wanted to get his team up to speed up preparation.

Recently, James Wan shared a picture on his official Twitter account. The Aquaman director was seated alongside Patrick Wilson (Ocean Master), Amber Heard (Mera) and Jason Momoa (Aquaman). The picture is embedded below.

“After school detention with the new Breakfast club,” Wan wrote. He also added hashtag “table read” before tagging the cast members. It was confirmed that the team was taking a look at the movie’s script.

‘Aquaman’ Main Cast Were Provided With Script

It is likely that the main cast were given a completed script of the movie. If so, Warner Bros. is on track to begin production and release Aquaman successfully with no delays. A new photo also hinted that Amber Heard has started filming her scenes.

Instagram user melaniemakeup recently shared a photo posing with Heard. “Working with this lady today,” Melanie wrote. She also use the hashtag “Mera, Aquaman, Aquawomen.”

Melanie is a famed makeup artist in the industry and it looks like she is working with Heard for her role as Mera. In the comics, Mera has been revealed to be an extraordinary character. Melanie certainly seems to have a tough task ahead of her.

Will Beall wrote the script, while Geoff Johns penned the story. The movie is set to be released on October 5, 2018. Other DCEU movies such as The Batman, The Flash are also slated hit theaters next year.

Beall assured that Aquaman is “going to be really fun.” “I think the scope of it is really great,” he said. The writer also said the movie will contain great action sequences on land as well.
