Movies like “Aquaman” are set to be blockbuster titles for Warner Bros. in 2018. Although the movie is way ahead from release, fans are initially concerned about the tone of the Atlantian movie.

DC Movies like “Batman v Superman” received hurtful criticism due to its dark tone. Initial reports suggested that the overall mood exists in “Wonder Woman” as well.

While “Aquaman” seems to be in good hands, considering that it is directed by James Wan, Warner Bros. may suggest the director to go ahead with a similar dark mood. Fortunately, it looks like the studio is on the road to drop the grittier adaptations of DCEU.

Recently, “Aquaman” scriptwriter Will Beall gave fans some insights on the movie. Fortunately, fans can sigh in relief. It has been suggested to be a fun film.

Will Beall Reveals Aquaman Tone Is Lighter

Will Beall said, “It’s going to be fun, it’s going to be really fun. What we’ve come up with and James [Wan] especially — he has a really clear idea of the tone he’s going to have, and I think Aquaman is one that’s going to blow people’s minds, not just visually, but I think the story and the scope of it is really great.”

The “fun” tone comes as a surprise due to the current attitude of the character portrayed in “Justice League.” Jason Momoa as Aquaman has been revealed to be a buffed-up trump card superhero as serious as Batman in DCEU.

Currently, Aquaman’s character is judged based on the SDCC “Justice League” teaser. However, most sources suggested that Zack Snyder’s movie is different than “Batman v Superman.”

Scriptwriters Talks Justice League

Will Beall spoke about Zack Snyder’s “Justice League.” The scriptwriter shared positive vibes for the film, unlike other reports. Initially, Beall had the opportunity to script “Justice League.” However, his vision was soon taken over by Chris Terrio and Zack Snyder.

Beall seem to have already seen a version of the latter movie. The scriptwriter revealed his impression on it as well. “I think Justice League again is, what you’re going to see — I hope I’m not going to get in trouble for saying this — but it’s much more fun, much poppier, than … I haven’t seen Wonder Woman yet, but Batman vs Superman was a little more somber. But Justice League is a lot more un. And I think that feels to me like the direction those movies are heading now.”
