The company finished updating the entire Xperia Z5 series within the third week of January. Sony aimed to deliver the new Google operating system to its devices ahead of its competitors. The Japanese technology company was one of the first manufacturers to bring the Nougat update to its models. Before 2016 ended, Sony successfully rolled out the Android Nougat to several units. Some of the units included the Xperia XZ, Xperia X Performance, and Xperia X. Sony also updated the Xperia X Compact and Xperia X Compact.
