Fans are waiting for the 2017 Marvel movies. The Marvel Cinematic Universe have obvious big plans for the future. For its phase 3, three Marvel films will grace the big screens in 2017. The films are Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Spider-Man: Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok. Fans would surely love the MCU with the newest twists and turns of three movies.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
Vol. 2 is set two months after the first film. The Guardians travel throughout the cosmos as they struggle to keep their ‘family’. Additionally, the team hopes to learn more about Peter Quill, a.k.a. Star-Lord, discover his parentage.
Vol. 2 features Baby Groot:
Groot has little memory of his adult past. However, he has not forgotten everything. Baby Groot can still recall small fragments and memories of his past life. Vol. 2 provides a chance to show Groot’s personality than the first film. Director James Hunn believes that Baby Groot is a ‘better-written’ character than the first one.
Kurt Russell, Sylvester Stallone and much more are a part of the cast.
A recent trailer for Vol. 2 revealed that Russell will join the cast that will play as Ego, the Living Planet, and the father of Star-Lord. French actress Pom Klementieff will be portraying the role of Mantis, a psychic woman. Tommy Flanagan will also take part as the right-hand man of Yondu Udonta. Stallone will have a cameo which will have a key important role in the film.
Homecoming will follow the events after Captain America: Civil War. Peter Parker tries to balance his life as an ordinary high school student and fighting crime as Spider-Man. Tony Stark will serve as his mentor to become a better version of himself.
Sony shares the rights with Marvel
Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios produced the film but Sony Pictures will distribute the film. Marvel and Sony share the rights to the Spider-Man franchise. As both studios are still mending the details, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed that Homecoming is a Marvel Studios film.
Homecoming will be a coming-of-age story-driven
The directors confirmed that their Spider-Man version is a coming of the age story. It will largely focus on the life of the teen Peter Parker. Fans will see Peter go through high school. Basically, the film will not see an actor in his late 20s portraying the role Peter.
Thor is held captive on Sakaar without his hammer. He must win a gladiatorial duel against his friend, the Hulk. In this way, he will be able to return to Asgard and stop the villainous Hela from destroying the Asgardian civilization.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Director James Gunn says Ragnarok has the best trailer in MCU
Some of the most memorable MCU trailers are made by Gunn. Despite having the title and a successful franchise under his wing, Gunn praised the Ragnarok trailer and went on record to say that it might be one of the best MCU trailers. He did not spill any information but his statement caused a lot of hype for the fans.
The Ragnarok storyline in the comics is a dark one
Ragnarok’s comic story line led to the Avengers Disassembled arc. This event broke up the original team of Avengers. The arc paved the way for a new group to form. It became a major catalyst for a lot of popular comic book storylines.
